America's Shrine to Music Museum on the University of South Dakota campus offers a world-class selection of the finest and rarest instruments made throughout the world!  The museum holds more than 10,000 American, European and non-Western instruments from virtually all cultures and historical periods.

Among the exhibits are: Native American instruments, 1795 French harpsichord, Norwegian folk instruments and a 1680 Stradivari Mandelino (one of only two in the world).
